Alessandra Ingrao is Professor of Labor Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Milan (Statale), where she obtained her PhD and teaches Trade Union and Industrial Relations Law as well as Labor Law.
She is the author of numerous national and international scientific publications and two monographs: “Remote Control of Workers and the New Privacy Regulation: An Integrated Reading” (Cacucci 2018) and “The Market for Working Hours. Interposition in Self-Employment” (Giuffrè 2020).
She is also involved in other research projects as an expert in data protection and labor law, particularly in relation to artificial intelligence. Her research interests mainly focus on the impact of digitalization on labor law and Industrial relation. In recent years, she has been the Principal Investigator of the DATI 4.0 project (Digitalization and Automation in Industry 4.0 Transformations https://sites.unimi.it/dati40/ ) and the coordinator of a team for PRIN 2022 ESCAPES https://www.escapes.polimi.it ).
