Marilisa D’Amico is Full Professor of Constitutional Law, Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law, and Deputy Rector for the Third Mission and Gender Equality at the University of Milan.
She is Chair holder and Academic coordinator of the European Fundamental Rights and Women’s Rights (EFRiWoR) Jean Monnet Chair.
She is Founder and Coordinator of Human Hall, a center of excellence for scientific research and development of activities carried out in collaboration with the business world, the voluntary sector and the institutions.
In Human Hall She follows, besides other projects, the project Human Hall for AI (HH4AI), dealing with a central aspect of the development of AI: the impact assessment of artificial intelligence systems, a modeling designed to ensure, through scientifically rigorous and neutral practices, respect for fundamental human rights.
She is the author of publications on topics related to constitutional law, constitutional justice, human rights protection, and gender equality.
