Pietro Villaschi is a tenure track researcher in constitutional and public law at the Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law, University of Milan.
His research activity has been devoted to the analysis of the impact of the digital revolution on the processes of representation and political participation and on the fundamental rights of the individual. The outcome of these studies flowed into his monograph entitled “Rappresentante e rappresentato al tempo della rivoluzione digitale”, Giappichelli, Torino, 2024.
He has done research stays abroad at the Institute for Information Law of the Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA) and at the Peter Haberle Research Center of the Universidad de Granada.
He has also been a speaker at numerous scientific seminars and conferences of national and international significance.
In the academic year 2023-2024, he was co-teacher for 20 hours of the Information Law Course within the Humanities for Communication degree program.
