Samanta Stanco is a research fellow in Legal Informatics at the Faculty of Law, University of
Milan. She is qualified to practice law and is Adjunct Professor at the IUSVE University Institute
of Verona, where she teaches Information and Communication Law.
Her research focuses on digital literacy, minors, cyberbullying, cyberstalking, online hate
speech, responsible use of technologies and data governance of minors.
In 2018, she attended the Postgraduate Course in Cybercrime and Digital Investigations –
Cyberbullying, cyberstalking, hate crimes among adults and adolescents, and protection of
vulnerable subjects, at the University of Milan. She also attended the advanced training course
“DPO Academy” for the positions of Data Protection OZicer (DPO), Privacy Manager and
Privacy Specialist, at the law firm Rödl & Partner in Milan. In 2024, she received an Executive
Master’s degree in General Management from the University of Milan.
As part of her research program, Samanta has produced scientific publications on topics of
interest and is involved in teaching and coordination activities within the Chair of Legal
Informatics.
